Lead of Design and Head of Operations, Rick is a RIBA Chartered Architect with nearly 20 years of experience across the construction industry in the UK, Europe and the GCC. A strong background in high end residential design, project management and honed business skills make him the best point of contact for our clients. He is an advocate of regenerative architecture and sustainable living, with extensive planning experience and a soft spot for alternative methods of construction. His designs and interviews have been published on a variety of media whilst leading Tholos Architects towards living through our mission.
Marco Statella

Strategic Associate Marco brings nearly two decades of international architectural experience, having established his practice AMZ 104 in 2006 after graduating from the University of Palermo. Currently Project Manager based in Vienna, Marco bridges Italian design sensibility with Northern European precision across projects in Italy, Austria, and Germany. His detail-oriented approach eschews rigid stylistic formulas in favor of bespoke solutions that respond to each client’s specific needs and context. Recognized with Best of Houzz Awards for client satisfaction, Marco specializes in residential renovations, interior architecture, and construction management, with particular expertise in cross-border project coordination. His work reflects a commitment to craftsmanship and technical excellence, whether transforming Berlin apartments or managing complex commercial developments in Vienna.

Strategic Associate Dario brings fresh perspectives from Rome’s vibrant contemporary architecture scene through his local practice dedicated to using design as a strategic tool for societal improvement. With qualifications including a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Architecture and registration with the Order of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects and Conservators (OAPPC), Dario specializes in residential renovations, interior design, and urban interventions that balance public and private realms. His approach treats each project as a unique research operation, developing specific strategies that respond to contemporary complexity while maintaining clear, lasting architectural intentions. Working between Rome’s rich historical context and modern urban challenges, Dario contributes innovative solutions that bridge the relationship between urban space and landscape, ensuring designs remain both contextually sensitive and forward-thinking.

His portfolio spans luxury residential, boutique hospitality, and commercial projects across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East, demonstrating particular expertise in working within historically sensitive contexts while delivering cutting-edge design solutions. With his holistic approach to both architectural planning and interior design, Nader combines meticulous attention to detail with advanced sustainable technologies, ensuring projects not only meet aesthetic and functional requirements but also achieve the highest environmental standards. This methodical persistence means invoices get processed, documents get filed correctly, meetings happen when they should, and project deadlines are tracked religiously.
